Sandwashed silk pants

So there’s a heatwave in europe right now that’s making wearing clothes miserable. It’s the kind of heat that is so assaulting, you want to be covered enough to protect your skin but also want as few points of contact as possible. Enter a “sandwashed” silk pant — i thrifted this vintage pair in bratislava and they’ve changed my life. I never liked silk pants because they always felt too pajama-adjacent and i think a lot of silk textures can look cheap or don’t lay right unless they’re reaaaaaally expensive and high quality. But the sandwashing technique takes away the sheen and gives it a bit of texture that i think makes them lay so much nicer on the body. And they truly keep me soooooo cool.
