Ostello del Bigallo (florence)

For as low as $30/night (higher if you want your own private room) you can stay in an 800 year old monastery that’s been converted to a delightful, cozy hostel just outside of florence. It’s the cleanest, chillest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. They have incredible nightly €8 pasta dinner served family style and delicious homemade desserts. You can see all of florence from the incredible terrace. It’s a very special place to recharge, and I made so many friends during my week there!
