Malatesta Trattoria

This is my favorite Normal restaurant in nyc. It’s not spectacular, they aren’t reinventing the wheel, and there is no flash or gimmick. It’s just solid italian food. The food and wine are well priced. It’s always buzzy and lively but never overwhelmingly so. I’ve gone on romantic dates and brought my parents and caught up with friends here. A real nyc gem.
